Double Chocolate Brownies

I don't know about you, but I happen to LOVE brownies. I find them super delicious and they're perfect with a cold glass of milk. Last night, I got a late night craving for some brownies, and had all the ingredients on hand for this recipe. It is so quick and easy to toss together and pop in the oven and it definitely satisfied the chocolatey goodness that my craving required. One of the best things about this recipe is that the ingredients are all things you probably keep on hand on a regular basis!

Double Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:
5 1/2 tbsp. unsalted butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet)

Directions:
1.) Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare your baking dish. I simply sprayed with baking spray.
2.) Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in cocoa and sugar.
3.) Remove from heat and then add in the eggs, stirring to combine. You may accidentally begin to cook your eggs if you don't remove your saucepan from the heat source first.
3.) Mix in flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt right into the saucepan until combined. Add in chocolate chips until combined.
4.) Pour mixture into your baking dish and spread evenly.
5.) Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Bear in mind the chocolate chips inside are probably melty and you may hit one of them while testing this way.
6.) Allow to cool then cut, remove, and enjoy!
